Overall a fantastic and a must have paint pot in my opinion! MAC Layin' Low Paint Pot is available across all MAC counters and retails for 1450/- for 5g. Layin low is flesh toned beige shade with peach undertones, which makes it the most perfect shade for Indian or tan skin tones Due to its peach undertones and. Once it dries it does not budge at all! Works fantastic as a base for neutral eye looks and keeps the eyeshadows from creasing making them last whole day! The only thing would be if you have very dry eyelids an eye cream is a must before using this one as it settles to a matte finish! The texture is creamy and completely matte! It applies smoothly on eyelids however it does tend to dry pretty fast so one has to work pretty quick in terms of blending the shade. This long-lasting eye colour creates a seamless.

To me its definitely more peachy beige rather than only beige! Its much warmer than soft ochre which is yellow and painterly which is more pink! Layin' low is flesh toned beige shade with peach undertones, which makes it the most perfect shade for Indian or tan skin tones! Due to its peach undertones and awesome pigmentation it does cover any hyper pigmentation or darkness on the eye lids quite effectively. The Pro Longwear Paint Pot is a creamy eyeshadow, easy to apply and provides intense colour once dry. MAC describes Layin' Low as "creamy beige". I always store these upside down as its much easier to find the shades this way and I have heard it helps to keep them from drying as well.

The packaging of pro long wear paint pots are same as their regular paint pots line, they come in a ting glass jar which I quite like and don't find them way too bulky. One of them which I was most excited about was Layin' Low which is a relaunch and was initially launched in 2010 with their Fafi collection!

So when MAC launched their Pro Longwear Paint Pots I was super excited to get my hands on few of them. I’m a MAC NC42, and Layin’ Low is in my category of everyday staples.MAC paint pots need no introduction, they one of the best selling products from MAC and quite worth the rave in my personal opinion. It lasts all day and doesn’t even need primer! MAC Layin’ Low as a base (you can see it on my lids and brow bones), with MAC Soft Brown, Saddle and Swiss Chocolate in the crease and MAC Smolder Eye Kohl on my lash lines For fast looks, I’ll wear it as a standalone shadow, just popping it right on my lids, diffusing it into the crease and smudging Costa Riche on my lash and water lines before adding mascara and a bold plum, wine or berry lip. It’s also a superstar eyeshadow base for warm orangey brown or reddish brown smoky eyes. This is my least favorite paint pot in the Fafi lot, but a pretty one nonetheless. Soft Ochre pulls as a neutral on me and doesnt read yellow at all. Perky - Perky is a cream coral with white pearl (satin finish). On me, Layin Low is SUPER orange and warm, although the photo shows it a little more washed out than it is IRL. It is lighter than Quite Natural, Constructivist and Groundwork, so this would be perfect as an all-over lid base. A swatch of MAC Layin’ Low on my NC42 skin I’ll buff it on my lids from lash line to brow bone with a MAC 217, then sweep Soft Brown into the crease, then Saddle or Texture slightly lower into the crease, Swiss Chocolate on my lids and a black liner (usually Smolder) on my lash and water lines. Here is Layin' Low in comparison with paint pots in similar colors. If you’re one of those gals or guys for whom the MAC Paint Pots look thick and heavy on your lids, try applying a very thin layer of Layin’ Low with a domed eyeshadow brush like the MAC 217. I’ll just do quick, little sweeping motions and make tight circles to buff the layers down as thin as humanly possible, which is something I learned from a MAC makeup artist, and it changed my worldview on the MAC Paint Pots, LOL! Before that I’d always press them into my skin with my fingers, and they’d look heavy and dry on my lids. The innovative second skin-like formula blends smoothly over lids and creates seamless, buildable coverage without looking heavy or cakey. I hope you give Layin’ Low a chance one of these days, because I think it’s a totally underrated everyday workhorse. 4.7 out of 5 76 global ratings M.A.C Pro Longwear Paint Pot- Layin Low by M.A.
